I’m Filip Gielda, a digital strategist and photographer with a passion for exploring new perspectives, both online and around the world.

I’ve lived and worked in Poland, Greenland, Norway, and Denmark (current location), each contributing to my worldview in unique ways. From navigating the cultural contrasts of bustling cities to the serene vastness of Arctic landscapes, every experience has shaped how I see and capture the world. My annual visits to Japan spark a profound appreciation for craftsmanship, minimalism, and the harmonious interplay of nature and culture - though I still marvel at the size of some insects there! Exploring hidden tea houses, artisan workshops, and centuries-old temples has taught me the value of subtlety and intentional design.

Recently, I discovered the joy of motorcycle road trips, opting for winding backroads that slow the pace and allow me to truly immerse in my surroundings. There’s something liberating about leaning into each curve, letting the journey itself be the main event. While digital photography keeps me nimble, analogue film has become a treasured medium for its tactile quality - it forces me to be more deliberate and patient. Observing a moment as it unfolds, then seeing it gradually come to life in the darkroom, is a reminder that creativity thrives in stillness and mindfulness.

Through the lens, I seek perspectives that invite a sense of timeless reflection.

I’ve always viewed travel as an inward journey as much as it is an outward exploration, a lens through which I learn about myself and the world simultaneously. My blog documents these layered experiences—reflecting not only the destinations themselves but also the creative sparks, cultural nuances, and personal epiphanies I encounter.

Whether wandering in a remote Greenlandic fjord or meandering through a bustling alley in Tokyo, I’m constantly reminded of the quiet wonder hidden in everyday scenes. The art and craftsmanship I stumble upon—from avant-garde galleries to humble workshop studios—fuel my drive to keep exploring. It’s these encounters, along with the people behind them, that inspire me to refine my photography and push my creative boundaries further.

The open road reawakens my sense of freedom, encouraging me to seek out untold stories around every winding turn.
